How to play
Goal
Each level is a set of brick cages with a flock inside. Break bricks to open a gap, the flock flies out through it, and you hit every bird with the ball. Clear all bricks and all birds to finish the level. There are 13 levels, and you have 3 lives for the whole run. A life is lost when the last ball in play falls past the paddle.
Controls
- Move: mouse, drag on the arena (or the strip under it on touch screens), or ← →.
- Launch: Space, the Launch button, or a click while the mouse is locked. Pause: P.
- Mouse lock is optional and keeps the pointer inside the game. Esc releases it and pauses.
Aiming the launch
The ball sits on the paddle until you launch. Its direction follows how the paddle is moving at that moment: hold still to fire straight up, or sweep left or right to angle it, up to about 57°. The dotted guide above the ball shows where it will go. Use it to get the ball behind a cage wall.
After a launch, where the ball hits the paddle sets its bounce: the ends send it out at steep angles, the middle sends it straight up.
Scoring
- Brick: 10 points. Bird: 100 points.
- Multiball bonus: every brick or bird you hit is worth +5 points for each extra ball in play. With 3 balls, a brick scores 20 and a bird 110.
Special birds
- ◷ Slow halves the speed of the balls and birds for 5 seconds. The paddle keeps its full speed.
- ⁙ Split splits the ball that hit it, up to 3 balls in play.
- ≈ Gust blows nearby birds outward.
Ball speed
- Levels 1–3 start at the same ball speed. From level 4, each level starts a little faster than the one before.
- Stall speed-up: if 8 seconds pass without a brick or bird hit, every ball speeds up 5%. It happens again every 8 seconds, with no limit, until you hit something. The boost stays for the rest of that ball and resets when a new ball launches (after a lost life or on the next level).
